Oj I lost it.
How different everything looks here on this blog, depending on which day I read it.
Interesting.
Rather 'fun' to go back and scroll and see what made me excited that particular moment.
And it is like with anything else, it needs to be posted right then because otherwise it loses
meaning.
Like this one.
This is a historical picture because it was taken on Hissingen in 2009. Interesting.

PROGRESSIVE HERPES
Facts about Herpes you might not know:
- viral DNA - at least 152 kbp
- capsid
- 162 capsomeres
- tegument - layer of proteins
- envelope
- glycosylated and non-glycosylated proteins, lipids and polyamines
DNA
HSV-1 AND HSV-2 DNA contains covalently linked components designated
- L = LONG
- S = SHORT
Each component is composed of unique sequences, U (L) and U (S).
Current studies show that these DNA encode at least 84 different polypeptides mapped in different regions.
How does HSV infect a cell?
HSV attaches to the cell surface receptors, fuse its envelope to the plasma membrane and allow the de-enveloped capsid to be transported to the nuclear pores.
The DNA is released into the nucleus at the pore.
Scheme of infection compared in different viruses.
The key events in viral replication that occur in the nucleus include:
- transcription
- DNA synthesis
- capsid assembly
- DNA packaging
- envelopment

BE RIGHT BACK

This is the entrance door to main desk inside
Fjäderborgen. This door (sort of folding door) is always
open, but last Tuesday it was closed and had this sign up.
Be right back (Kommer Strax).
Usually seen in southern European countries
when owner is out swimming or something.
This guy was sweeping the floor in the badminton hall.
Cute.

I am so alive that I can see the DNA helix with my bare eyes, aj!Be careful with the pairs, they can easily break or switch places...
BÄR DITT BARN SOM DEN SISTA DROPPEN VATTEN -
Björn Ranelid
(perhaps it would be something like: 'Carry your child like your last drop of water')
I started a new project, and this project is being executed in the place of Latent Lucia, and
will partly be acknowledged by Holy Olga. How lucky I am, Katarina is first author!
So, the only chance to get approved for new publishing of one self, is to let go of the old.
I have to put it aside, it is no longer my baby. You really, really need to get it OUT of your system,
otherwise there will never be anything called new, let alone inventive.
DROP YOUR OLD AS YOUR LAST DROP OF WATER -
Latent Lucia.
And we look forward to seeing my name on many publications to come...

AMEN.
BAD FINALE
AS LONG AS I AM KATARINA, PRESENCE WILL BE HIDDEN UNDERNEATH AND VAGUELY SEEN. THAT'S WHY I REFUSE TO BE AFRAID.
I WONDER WHAT MY MOM WOULD HAVE DONE.
AND I WILL NEVER LOSE, EVEN IF THE SCORE SEEM 2-1.

REFLECTIONS

Rainy evening - thank god number 6 came when I called it.
Tram goes really quickly, I had to hold on to the chair not to fall down on the disgusting floor.
Are there two directions?!
And what do u know, all of a sudden I find myself at good old Järntorget.
Back and forth, back and forth. Why doesn't people protest to this blessed every day life?
Don't you get tired going back and forth and back?
Don't you just die from lack of variation, of knowledge, of new people to look at, of new buildings to see, new streets to walk, new air to breath, new latte to hunt for??
What if herpes would go back and forth, back and forth up down the ganglion highway?
Oh... Don't you just die from lack of variation, of knowledge, of new people to look at, of new buildings to see, new streets to walk, new air to breath, new latte to hunt for??
I do.
What can you do?
Just take another step in the forward direction.
Once you decide to walk there is no going back.
Sorry.
This picture is extremely annoying, and the reason to why I put it up. It is my leg yes, but that is not important here. I was trying to catch something from a different angle (?) but people were pushing me from behind, screaming at me to stop taking pictures, hitting me on the head with their big Liseberg-won DAJM. Aj!
That's how annoying it is. I didn't manage to make anything from this.

NO POPULATION
This is the last post I make about Flow Jo analysis, don't want to infect the blog with this too...
But what really is up with this program, why, why , why do you eat hours of my time like this!!
I am calling Flow Jo company as we speak! It is enough, I mean that's the least you can do Jo, to save the work I put into your space!
JANE GOODALL
Wonderful news on TV4 today about Jane Goodall and her work with chimpanzees.
She listed two examples of memorable moments during her time with them:
- first one was when one of her chimpanzees who was especially shy to humans, who let her 5 month baby get close to Jane after which her baby touched Jane's nose!
- second when she gave a fruit to one of the chimpanzees (David). She was sitting next to David when she gave it to him, but David showed her that he did not want it. He finally took the fruit and dropped it on the ground, giving Jane a sharp look while squeezing her hand firmly.
This Jane said, was proof of the communication chimpanzees have and which is so similar to humans, dating back to 3-4 million years ago.
In conclusion, Jane has taught us how similar we are to the chimpanzees, even at the point of producing our own tools to use, which we before thought was something unique to humans.
Well, I agree!
These pictures were taken at Mariaplan on my way to work.

FRY BABY FRY
Halleluja!
I put the frying pan in dish water and little did I know, that these these organized structures were rearranging meanwhile.
Heat, butter and detergent. That's all you need for this piece of art.
Or is it me that's gone completely crazy, waiting for the frying pan to mature...?

5 year master's degree in music, master's degree in molecular biology and ongoing PhD research,
to find myself blogging about frying pans.
This must come to an end, I promise.
I will train my ability to set the limits.
You see, in my head my allowed bounderies create a huge space around me.
Time to get real.
